$12 Billion Location Based Services Market Eyed by Alternet Systems

Florida-based Alternet Systems is an enabler of secure mobile commerce and payment transactions in the Americas and the Caribbean. International Mobile Solutions also known as IMS is Alternet's recently launched mobile security subsidiary. IMS was created in late 2009 to address security concerns when deploying mobile commerce and transaction services, provided by Alternet's other subsidiary, Utiba Americas. As a part of its new strategy, the company has launched the IMS website to secure a web presence dedicated to its mobile security offering.
